Designing a billboard on two supports
Designing billboard on two supports, is another such order from our regular customers. Task is to develop the design of the billboard, to calculate the metal structure on the mechanical strength and give the design documentation (DD).
Stages of work:
- Coordination of the design with the customer, provided in the form of three-dimensional model;
- Settlement approved 3d model billboard on the mechanical strength;
- Issuance of a DD.
Structural analysis performed by an experienced engineer estimator, the program. He sets the design scheme, boundary conditions and load.
Design scheme is a three-dimensional model, as shown in the figure above (panels on a metal frame on two supports)
Boundary conditions and load identical already described in the previous article.
Perform modal analysis to account for the value of the fluctuating component of the wind load at a given height, in accordance with SNIP 2.01.07-85.
After that, run the model in the calculation:
Obtain data on the stress-strain state of the construction of the billboard and the forces of tensile bolts.
Just made additional calculations:
- Calculation of anchor bolts that billboard attached to the foundation;
- Calculation of the weld joining the rack to the support plates;
- Calculation of the rollover of the billboard (metalwork with the foundation).
Calculations showed that the design of the billboard complies with the conditions of strength and stability conditions from tipping over under the influence of the wind load.
Based on the strength calculations, working drawings were issued billboard (assembly drawings and detailing). Documentation complies with the requirements and design standards for ESKD.
